Lesson N - Review of Grammar Music

You are now halfway finished with this course!
It is time now to look back on what you have learned. You may click on any lesson to go back and study it again.  When you are ready, we have some exercises that will use what you know.

Lesson A.  “To be” verbs. (S + AM/IS/ARE) I am happy. You are not happy. Peter is a teacher. Are you a teacher? Why is Peter a teacher?
Lesson B.  Present Continuous tense: (S + AM/IS/ARE + V1 + ING) She is laughing. John is not laughing. Is Peter running? Where is he driving?
Lesson C.  Have Got (S + HAVE/HAS + GOT) I have got money. She hasn’t got a house. Have you got a friend? Where has Michael got a house?
Lesson D.  Possessive Pronouns, Plurals: I like my house. The house isn’t ours. Where is their house? Also: (Plurals) cars, boxes, cities, lives, men.
Lesson E.  Can, Can’t (S + CAN + V1)
Lesson F.  Prepositions - Time and Place: on Thursday, at 8 o’clock. AND: in the city, at my house, on the train.
Lesson G.  Future Shortcut: (I am leaving Tuesday) – Future Simple tense: (S + WILL + V1) I will come next week. Will you go to Paris? Where will you eat?
Lesson H.  Present Simple tense: (S + V1 + s/es) She works at the store. Does Peter work Tuesday?
Lesson I.  Imperative Mood: Look out for the falling rock! Don’t walk on the grass. Let’s have a party!
Lesson JThere is, There are (THERE IS/ARE + S) There are 3 people in the house. Is there any food in the house? How many people are there in the train?
Lesson KObjects and Pronouns as Objects: (S + V1 + O) John knows Ann. She knows him.
Lesson L.  Past Simple tense: (S + V2) I walked. I did not walk. Where did you walk?
Lesson M.  Present Perfect tense: (S + HAVE/HAS + V3) I have bought a car. I haven’t gone to the city. Where has she worked before?
