2. ADVERBS modify verbs
most of the time:
He is eating
(quickly).
Most of the time, we make Adverbs by adding
-LY to the end of Adjectives.
Adjective = quick (The quick runner has finished.)
Adverb = quickly (The runner finishes quickly.)
Adjective = careful (The careful mother dresses her
son.)
Adverb = carefully. (The mother dresses her son carefully.)
Now make an ADVERB from the Adjective "safe."
