So you just added the Wh word to Did she work yesterday? And again. you did well! Take a look at a few more:
What did she learn last week?   Who did she take to the train?

Now, the difference between these last two is in the kind of answer you want. Did she work yesterday? gives you a yes-no answer. Why did she work yesterday? is looking for an open-ended answer.
