NOTE: These last 5 lessons - the Conditional Mood (2), Passive Voice, and more Future Tenses (2) - WILL BE DIFFICULT. Up to this point, every speaker should know how to USE this Grammar. However, from now onward: some people will want to understand only, and some people will want to use these perfectly.
Lesson V - Grammar Music
THE CONDITIONAL MOOD
A lot of the time we are talking about IF. We are
talking about things that will possibly happen.
So...you must often use the word IF (, if you want to say
things that are true).
The Conditional Mood is always saying "If...and Maybe...and
Maybe if...Perhaps...If only...As long as..."
"If...If
...Maybe...Perhaps...)
Because we don't always know what will happen, we need the
Conditional Mood. (Of course that is all lawyers ever use!)
If you want to make this sentence conditional, what will you do?
John will marry Mary
____ _____ _____ _____ _____.
father says her
if OK
