So now you are more than half finished. It is time for some more good news...
a really simple verb form! ((TO + V1)
to go (TO + V1)
to run (TO + V1)
to eat (TO + V1)
to sleep (TO + V1)

Here's a simple way to use these in sentences: I want to eat. (WANT/WANTS + TO + EAT) Now the first verb changes with the person and tense but the "to" verb never does. It is always (TO + V1).
You want to eat.
She wants to eat.
They wanted to eat.
You will want to eat.
We have wanted to eat.

Isn't that great! 
Now do it yourself with a different word in place of want:
to eat was eating likes
Barbara _____ _____ ______.
