Now, you can also use the "to be" verbs with nouns. Note that in the singular nouns we use the article "a" or "an":

   I         am    a teacher
 You      are    a teacher 
 S/He     is      a teacher 
  We      are    teachers 
  You     are    teachers 
 They    are    teachers 

So if you know the "to be" forms, you can be a happy teacher!
